SW400Pro

40 kgf / 392 N Class · 35,000–97,000 rpm

A mid-range turbojet with an exceptionally high power density. 392 N from a 3.24 kg engine unit — a bare-engine thrust-to-weight ratio of 12.3:1, the highest in the Pro line-up. Runs on aviation kerosene, starts electronically, and reports telemetry over RS-232 or RS-422.

Key Highlights

Why the SW400Pro fits high-speed unmanned flight programmes.

Highest Power Density

392 N from a 3.24 kg engine unit — a 12.3:1 bare-engine thrust-to-weight ratio, the highest in the Pro range.

Very Wide Speed Band

35,000 to 97,000 rpm gives fast throttle response and fine thrust resolution in the mid-thrust class.

Light Integration Footprint

341 mm length and 4.2 kg all-up makes this the easiest Pro-series engine to package into a compact airframe.

Standard Aviation Fuel

Aviation kerosene with 3–5% lubricant; full-throttle flow 1,000 g/min.

Full Telemetry

RS-232 and RS-422 expose speed, EGT and status; the ECU retains one hour of data before any fault.

Serviceable Design

25-hour maintenance interval, a 5 kg shipping case and a complete accessory set with every engine.

Applications

Civil and commercial domains within the manufacturer's stated scope of use.

High-Speed UAV Platforms

Mid-size unmanned aircraft needing jet-class speed from a compact, lightweight powerplant.

Firefighting & Emergency Response

Emergency-response and firefighting platforms within the manufacturer's stated scope of use.

Research & Flight Test

University laboratories and propulsion integrators requiring a production-grade turbine for demonstrator programmes.

Scope of Use & Export Compliance

The manufacturer specifies this engine for model-aircraft flight, competition, demonstration, firefighting and road-surface drying — entertainment and civil applications only. Modification for unlawful purposes, or resale to countries under national export restrictions, is prohibited.

Rated thrust sits close to the 400 N threshold used in dual-use classification, so every export order is reviewed individually. International shipments require an end-user certificate (EUC) and, where applicable, an export licence under the regulations of the People's Republic of China.

Every engine ships with a manufacturer's certificate of conformity and full shipping documentation. Accessory set: engine unit, ECU (V4), GSU, mounting frame, power cable, signal cable, ball valve, fuel filter and 1.5 m fuel lines.
